Kevin Boden

Kevin Boden is an avid performer and teacher of viola and regularly performs throughout Ohio. Prior to Cincinnati, he was a violist with the Spokane Symphony.

Growing up in Washington State, Boden started playing viola in the fourth grade. At 16, he made his solo debut with the Spokane Symphony. He attended the Meadowmount School and the Encore School for Strings during the summer.

Boden is a graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Music, where he earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in viola performance. His teachers include Mark Jackobs, Stanley Konopka, and Robert Vernon. His passion for chamber music intensified by working with such groups as the Cavani String Quartet and the Juilliard String Quartet. Boden attended the National Repertory Orchestra and the Kent/Blossom Music Festival.

While in Cincinnati, Boden regularly performs with such groups as the Cincinnati Symphony, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra.
